AF 647: Fluorescent Dye

(DB-410400)

AF 647 is a bright far-red-fluorescent dye that is structurally identical to Alexa Fluor 647. AF 647 dye possesses high water-solubility and high fluorescence quantum yield; it is pH-insensitive over a wide molar range. Widely applied for imaging and flow cytometry.

The AF 647 dye molecules can be attached to proteins at high molar ratios without significant self-quenching, leading to brighter conjugates and more sensitive detection.
