The 2.0 series of RT-PCR Mixes is exceptionally sensitive and robust. Our mixes can detect work with 1 DNA copy. Its stability and user friendly packaging is ideal for everyday analysis. All mixes in the 2.0 series are suitable for single-cell detection. Contains UDG (uracil-DNA glycosylase to prevent carryover contamination from previous PCR reactions.

Exceptionally robust and sensitive: The 2.0 series of DB PCR Mixes can detect approx. 1 copy of DNA. Stable for at least days at 25°C, at least several weeks at 4°C

End-point PCR with proprietary, ultra-efficient antibody hot-start. Blue and yellow dyes to monitor migration process during electrophoresis.

Wide range of applications: qPCR from cDNA, genomic DNA (also for genotyping), plasmid DNA or preparation of DNA product for T/A cloning.

Direct detection from a wide range of sample types (human cells, bacteria, viruses, different biological matrices such as human serum, saliva, or cell cultivation media).

Suitable for single-cell detection. Certain cell types require a separate preincubation step in our Lysis Buffer A (DB-1281; feel free to request it with your order).

UDG variant contains optimal ratio of dTTP and dUTP to maximize robustness without compromising UDG efficiency.

No DNA Isolation: Sensitive PCR from Microorganisms and Cells with DBdirect Technology

Straightforward PCR Analysis with no DNA Isolation:Our DBdirect™ technology enables direct PCR from a wide range of biological samples without the need for DNA isolation. The key innovation lies in our unique PCR mix formulation, which facilitates direct lysis during the PCR reaction. Some sample types benefit from a preincubation step in DB Lysis Buffer A (DB-1281), followed by the addition of the lysate to the PCR mix. Here we compared the sensitivity of our PCR mixes to various cell types and viruses and determined the optimal DBdirect™ variant for each category. If you are using E.coli, use only 5-minute denaturation step.
