AT 488 PEG5-Biotin is a bright green-fluorescent dye that is structurally identical to Atto 488. With its high photostability and pH resistance, it has become one of the most widely used fluorophores in life sciences. Its hydrophilic (much higher due to PEG) nature makes it an ideal choice for labeling sensitive proteins.
PEG5 spacer improves accesibility to binding partners. It makes it better for in-cell labeling, protein conjugation, or any application where spatial flexibility, solubility, or reduced nonspecific binding is critical
Package size
Key Parameters: More flexibility and less non-specific interactions with lower costs
PEG5-Biotin: Improved reaction efficiency and reduced background
Applications: Confocal microscopy, super resolution microscopy (STED, PALM, dSTORM), flow cytometry (FACS), cell cultures and tissue labeling
Lower cost alternative with protocol compatibility: Same Spectral Properties & Performance = Works exactly like Atto™ 488 with friendly price. Use it as a substitute for Alexa Fluor® 488 or FAM.
Complete Compatibility – Can be used in any existing protocol that uses Atto 488
