AT 488 Alkyne is a bright green-fluorescent dye that is structurally identical to Atto 488. With its high photostability and pH resistance, it has become one of the most widely used fluorophores in life sciences. Its hydrophilic nature makes it an ideal choice for labeling sensitive proteins.
AT 488 Alkyne is reactive with azides via a copper-catalyzed click reaction and it is exceedingly bright and photostable fluorophore for use with flow cytometry, microscopy and HCS.
Package size
Key Parameters: Great brightness and pH stability with lower costs
Alkyne: Reactive with azides via a copper-catalyzed click reaction
Applications: Confocal microscopy, super resolution microscopy (STED, PALM, dSTORM), flow cytometry (FACS), cell cultures and tissue labeling
Lower cost alternative with protocol compatibility: Same Spectral Properties & Performance = Works exactly like Atto™ 488 with friendly price. Use it as a substitute for Alexa Fluor® 488 or FAM.
Complete Compatibility – Can be used in any existing protocol that uses Atto 488
