Job Description

What will be your responsibilities?

Development and evaluation of new engineered PCR enzymes with unique properties (in collaboration with our protein facility).
Development and testing of optimized compositions of PCR mixes.
Development and optimization of related methods (e.g. single cell RT-PCR, direct RT-PCR from human body fluids, potentially isothermal techniques etc).
Record keeping about the products, communication with production and sales departments.
Cooperation with IP specialist on filing patent applications.
Designing the developmental steps, literature review.

What are the requirements?

Finished PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related fields.
At least several years of additional experience in industrial or academic laboratory.
Experience in biochemistry and chemical biology, preferentially in RT-qPCR, assay development, protein chemistry, enzymology, enzyme inhibition etc.
Track record in scientific publications and/or patent applications is of advantage.
Self motivated professional with positive attitude and team spirit.
Working in highly organized matter needed.
