MISSION

We are a young Czech biotechnology company focused on several areas (antibody development, drug development services, development and production of PCR reagents, and the development of unique PCR diagnostic methods).

For our PCR reagents production team, we are looking for a colleague for a key manufacturing position, responsible for the process from planning through to hands-on implementation in the laboratory.

Job Description

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Setting up, managing, and optimizing technological production processes
  • Planning and coordination of production, including supervision of a small team of operators and temporary staff.
  • Hands-on involvement in production and supervision of operators
  • Preparing and maintaining production documentation and records
  • Cooperating with QC and QA to ensure product quality
  • Introducing new products into production in cooperation with R&D
  • Validating production processes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Working with ERP and production software

What are the requirements?

  • University degree (at least MSc/Ing.) in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field
  • Practical experience in a biochemical/molecular biology laboratory. Ideally 1–2 years after graduation (academia or industry)
  • Diligence, attention to detail, and a responsible and pragmatic approach to work
  • Ability to lead people and effectively transfer knowledge and skills
  • Systematic, independent, and eager to optimize processes
  • Knowledge of QMS / ISO13485 is an advantage, not a requirement
