Václav Navrátil, Ph.D.
CEO & CTO
Václav is the main inventor of the DIANA technology and currently acts as our CEO and also leads our research and developmental activities. Václav studied biochemistry and theoretical chemistry at the Charles University in Prague and subsequently worked as a research scientist at the IOCB Prague.
Martin Dienstbier, Ph.D.
CFO & COO
Martin facilitated our transition from academia to the industry and is now responsible for our finances and operations. Martin studied molecular biology at the University of Cambridge and then worked as a research fellow at the University of Oxford, followed by the career in management consulting with Boston Consulting Group.
Jiří Schimer, Ph.D.
Head of Chemistry
Jiří is our chemistry guru, synthesizing DIANA probes for new targets and leading our medicinal chemistry in drug discovery. Jiří studied biochemistry at the Charles University and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology and at IOCB Prague.
Jan Tykvart, Ph.D.
Head of Development
Jan leads our laboratory operations and is also instrumental in developing our new R&D projects. Jan studied biochemistry at the Charles University, followed by PhD at IOCB Prague. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, developing diagnostic applications.
Jan Neumann
Head of Business Operations
Jan is facilitating our growth in business support functions. Jan studied business and management at University of Economics in Prague and Erasmus University in Rotterdam and he joined our team after serving as COO of AI startup Yieldigo and previous career in management consulting and venture capital.
