How DIANA works?

DIANA is a multi-well plate detection assay, where target protein is selectively captured to the plate and then incubated with a unique detection probe consisting of a small-molecule inhibitor linked to a DNA-oligo. The amount of bound probe is quantified by quantitative PCR. It can be used either in a simple detection mode applicable in clinical diagnostics or in a modified screening mode with the  application in drug discovery.
